Real estate crowdfunding starting from 10,000 yen
Yamawake Estate is a real estate crowdfunding platform operated by Yamawake Estate Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of WeCapital, Inc..
Yamawake Estate operates in accordance with the Real Estate Specific Joint Enterprise Acts (Nos. 1 and 2), whereas WeCapital, Inc., which holds a Type II Financial Instruments Business license*, acquires real estate properties such as buildings and subdivides them into fractional ownership units treated as quasi-securities. This allows investors to participate with investments as low as 10,000 yen, as opposed to the typically high capital required for real estate investments.
Income gains (dividends) from rental income and capital gains (capital appreciation) when the real estate properties are sold are also possible for investors.
*Type II Financial Instruments Business: The sale of quasi-securities (as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 2 of the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act) other than major marketable securities such as stocks and bonds.
